POLICIES
Information about your privacy, use of this website, digital product refunds, and permitted use of Cardboard Lab Studio patterns.
Last updated: September 25, 2026PRIVACY POLICY
Cardboard Lab Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected through this website and how it is used.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, product or order number, message, and any image or file you choose to submit. Our hosting provider may also process basic technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, and security logs, to deliver and protect the website.
How we use information
- To answer questions and provide product or order support.
- To review images or files sent for assembly help.
- To respond to collaboration, licensing, or business enquiries.
- To protect the website and prevent spam or misuse.
We do not sell personal information or use contact-form details for unrelated marketing.
Services involved
If the contact form is connected to a form-processing provider such as Formspree, that provider processes and stores submissions so they can be delivered to us. Purchases are completed on Etsy, Gumroad, or Payhip, and each platform handles payment and order information under its own privacy policy.
Storage and removal
Contact information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the message, provide support, maintain necessary business records, or resolve a dispute. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information submitted through the contact form by emailing syaifuddinhanif21@gmail.com.
Children’s privacy
Our projects may be enjoyed by families and children, but the contact form is intended for adults. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian should submit support requests on a child’s behalf.
International processing
Online service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy and data-protection terms apply to that processing.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the website, contact form, analytics, or service providers change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
TERMS OF USE
By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the website, its content, or other visitors.
Digital products and checkout
Cardboard Lab Studio products are digital downloads. No physical item is shipped unless a listing explicitly states otherwise. Product purchases and delivery are handled by the selected marketplace: Etsy, Gumroad, or Payhip. The price, payment options, taxes, download access, and transaction terms displayed by that platform apply to the purchase.
Product information
We aim to present product descriptions, dimensions, difficulty levels, images, and file contents accurately. Small differences may result from printer settings, cardboard thickness, cutting accuracy, assembly, or screen appearance.
Building safely
Cardboard projects may require scissors, craft knives, glue, and other tools. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. You are responsible for choosing appropriate tools, materials, and working methods.
Website content
All patterns, photographs, videos, illustrations, text, branding, and website content are owned by Cardboard Lab Studio or used with permission. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or used commercially except as allowed by the Digital Pattern License below.
External platforms
This website links to third-party services. Their availability, checkout systems, accounts, and policies are controlled by those providers. Questions about a transaction may need to be handled through the platform where the order was placed.
Availability and changes
Products, prices, website features, and content may be updated, corrected, or discontinued. We may also restrict access if the website is misused.
REFUND POLICY
Because Cardboard Lab Studio products are digital files, refunds are generally unavailable after a file has been downloaded or accessed.
If you purchased the wrong product, received a damaged or incomplete file, were charged more than once, or cannot access your download, contact us with the product name, order number, purchasing platform, and a description of the problem. We will review the situation and help find an appropriate solution.
Refund requests are processed through the platform where the purchase was made and remain subject to Etsy, Gumroad, or Payhip policies, as well as any consumer rights that apply in your location.
Before purchasing, please review the product description, file format, paper size, finished dimensions, and difficulty information.
DIGITAL PATTERN LICENSE
Purchasing a Cardboard Lab Studio pattern gives you a limited license to use the digital files. Copyright and ownership remain with Cardboard Lab Studio.
You may
- Download and print the pattern for personal projects.
- Use the pattern for family activities, classrooms, schools, workshops, and events.
- Customize, paint, and decorate finished physical builds.
- Sell finished physical items that you personally make from the pattern on a small scale.
When selling or publicly displaying a finished item, please credit: “Made using a pattern by Cardboard Lab Studio.”
You may not
- Copy, share, email, upload, distribute, or resell the digital files.
- Modify, trace, convert, or repackage the pattern for resale or distribution.
- Sell printed pattern sheets, unfinished pattern pieces, templates, or kits containing copies of the pattern.
- Use the pattern for factory production, mass production, or production by third parties.
- Claim the pattern, instructions, images, or design as your own.
Schools, workshops, and event organisers may print copies needed for the activity, but may not publish or distribute the source files. Contact us for licensing questions or uses outside these terms.
